VCCI President Awards “For Business Development” Medal to Japanese Counselor

Dr. Vu Tien Loc, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), hosted a meeting and awarded a medal to Mr. Watanabe Go, Counselor of the Embassy of Japan, before he leaves office in Vietnam on June 27.

Addressing the reception, VCCI President Loc highly appreciated Mr. Watanabe Go for his contributions for promoting trade and economic ties between businesses of the two countries and his cooperation activities with VCCI to improve labor productivity in Vietnam.

The host hoped that, when returning Japan, Mr. Watanabe will represent Vietnam in Japan and continue to promote trade relations between the two countries.

Counselor Watanabe Go also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to VCCI’s cooperation in general and VCCI President Vu Tien Loc in particular during his term in Vietnam. He said that, in the near future, Japan needs to work closely with Southeast Asian countries, including Vietnam, to promote the regional development. He also affirmed that, in any position, he will continue to contribute positively to the development of Japan - Vietnam relations in general and between businesses of the two countries in particular.

At the meeting, on behalf of VCCI, President Loc awarded the “For Business Development” Medal to Mr. Watanabe Go, Counselor of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.
