Long Thanh Industrial and Urban Zone was formed in 2003 as a model modern industrial and urban zone, designed to have effective operation, ensure employment for workers and guarantee social security. Sonadezi Long Thanh was established to ensure this project to be carried out in a professional and effective manner, marking a new turning point on the path of more than 15 years of industrial park infrastructure development in Dong Nai province with the first-ever industrial - urban area model in the country.

Long Thanh Industrial and Urban Zone comprises 448-ha Long Thanh Industrial Park and 35.73-ha Tam An 1 Residential Area. As of the second quarter of 2019, Long Thanh Industrial Park has attracted about US$1.11 billion from foreign investors from the United States, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Taiwan, France, Denmark, Germany and others. Typical tenants include Bosch Vietnam, Ajinomoto Vietnam and Olympus Vietnam. Long Thanh Industrial Park has created more than 10,000 jobs and provided accommodations for more than 4,000 workers.

Over the past 15 years, Sonadezi Long Thanh has become a prestigious brand and affirmed its position in the real estate field in Dong Nai province. With success from Long Thanh Industrial and Urban Zone, Sonadezi Long Thanh has accumulated resources for further business value development.

With the occupancy rate of over 90% and 99 tenants hiring industrial land and ready-built factories, Sonadezi Long Thanh has been operating effectively and is gearing up to become an eco-industrial park. Sustainable economic development and environmental protection are the top priorities in Long Thanh Industrial Park. Long Thanh Wastewater Treatment Plant with a daily capacity of 15,000 cubic meters in Long Thanh Industrial Park is a standard facility of its kind in Dong Nai province. Currently, the quality of treated water by this facility meets grade A criteria of the current QCVN standard, and Sonadezi Long Thanh is planning to apply for a permit to upgrade its current capacity to 25,000 cubic meters a day to meet production and business needs of tenants and better protect the environment at Long Thanh Industrial Park. Sonadezi Long Thanh is planning for the deployment of a circular water treatment facility where treated water is supplied back to tenants. The project is not only economically meaningful but also a practical solution and technological model to protect the environment, save resources and pursue sustainable development.
