With good natural conditions, strong infrastructure and effective support for businesses, Rach Bap Industrial Park has drawn many domestic and foreign investment projects, thus becoming one of best investment destinations in Binh Duong province.

Magnetism from local advantages

Rach Bap Industrial Park, established under the Prime Minister's Document 1838/TTg-CN dated November 16, 2005, is invested and developed by An Dien Industry Joint Stock Company. Situated on 278.6 ha (the first phase) in the center of Ben Cat Town, Binh Duong Province, the industrial park meets all necessary conditions to draw investors. Accordingly, it is 55 km from Ho Chi Minh City, Tan Son Nhat International Airport and Saigon Port, near the Saigon River leading to river ports like Vinaconex Port (An Tay commune), An Son port, Ba Lua Port and Saigon Port, very convenient for freight transportation and trading. In addition, Rach Bap Industrial Park is connected to important traffic routes such as Road DT744 and Road DT7A with six lanes linked to DT744 and National Highway 13.

The infrastructure system in the industrial park has been completely and synchronously invested to provide best conditions for businesses to maximize production and business development potential in a green, clean and efficient environment. In particular, the internal traffic system is well paved and designed to meet Vietnamese H18-H30 standards. The national power grid feeds factories in the industrial park through an existing three-phase 22KV medium voltage line. The water supply system, with a daily capacity of 7,000 cubic meters (phase 1), meets Vietnamese TCVN standards. The wastewater treatment plant, with a daily capacity of 6,000 cubic meters, is treated under the Vietnamese QCVN standards. Fire prevention and fighting, information network, telecommunication service and other systems are also fully invested.

In addition, the investor of Rach Bap Industrial Park pledges to support tenants to carry out investment and business registration procedures free of charge; support them to apply for construction, electricity and internet connection permits; and assist them to recruit workers as they need. Besides, the investor has planned many infrastructure works like administrative section, trade centers, showrooms, post offices, banks and customs offices to support tenants to boost manufacturing. A 50-ha residential area next to the industrial park has also been built to provide accommodations for 25,000 workers. Furthermore, local governments always actively roll out the red carpet welcome for investors with attractive preferential policies and carry out the single-window mechanism in handling administrative procedures. According to many investors, land rents in Rach Bap Industrial Park are more competitive than neighboring industrial parks.

With its efforts to build a favorable investment environment, Rach Bap Industrial Park has become an ideal destination for investors. Up to now, Rach Bap Industrial Park has the occupancy rate of almost 100%. It is home to many big projects of Vietnamese, Chinese, South Korean and Japanese investors with total foreign investment capital of US$188 million and total domestic investment of VND1,307 billion.

Expanding the scale

After the success of Rach Bap Industrial Park in the first phase, An Dien Industry Joint Stock Company is carrying out the second-phase expansion of 360 ha to meet the rising demand. Coupling with the second-phase enlargement of the industrial park is the expansion of the adjacent residential area of 30 ha to provide full value-added services for workers in the industrial park. Currently, the company is preparing to welcome investors to invest in building factories in the second phase.

To build a green, clean, modern, synchronous and sustainable destination, Rach Bap Industrial Park (second phase) is ready to welcome secondary investors to invest in clean, environmentally friendly prioritized industries such as food and beverage processing, textile (non-dyeing), garment, leather, leatherette, leather footwear (not tanning), wood processing, furniture manufacturing, construction material, packaging and printing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, plastic and rubber processing (not fresh latex processing), mechanical engineering, precision engineering and metallurgy.

Expectedly, after coming into operation, the second-phase Rach Bap Industrial Park will entice domestic and international investors. Conjoining the first-phase Rach Bap Industrial Park with complete infrastructure is a favorable condition for continued infrastructure investment in the second-phase facility, giving a chance for tenants to benefit directly from the first-phase infrastructure system, especially transport, water supply, wastewater treatment and communication infrastructure. This also facilitates the management and operation of Rach Bap Industrial Park, which is aimed to become a model industrial park in Binh Duong province in particular and in the whole country in general, generating driving force for economic development, employment, higher export value and more tax payment to local coffers.
