Effort for over 1,000 Nationally Branded Products

This is one important target of the Vietnam National Brand Program from 2020 to 2030 recently approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

The program aims to build Vietnam’s image as a country of high-quality products and services; increase the pride and attraction of Vietnamese country and people; and contribute to boosting foreign trade and national competitiveness.

Accordingly, from 2020 to 2030, the Program focuses on building and developing the Vietnam Brand linked to positive and outstanding values.

The program targets to annually increase the number of top brands in the world’s reputable rating organization by 10%. About 90% of enterprises will acknowledge the role of brands in production, business, and investment. All products which are recognized as Vietnam National brands will be advertised domestically and in key export markets.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is responsible for managing the program. Ministries and central agencies are assigned to carry out projects under the Program.
