Workshop on Blue EconomyPosted: Monday, November 21, 2016
VCCI and NHO (Confederation of Norwegian Business and Industry) plan to jointly launch a VCCI - NHO cooperation project on new vocational training model and vocational training cooperation in the fisheries sector. In this programme, businesses engage in the training process and contribute curriculum development and training methodology to meet corporate demands; send technical staffs to lecture at training schools; receive teachers and intern students to practice at their factories; and help reduce post-recruitment training costs. Schools, Departments of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, representatives of business associations and VCCI-HCM participate in the Professional Training Quality Advisory Board in order to promote cooperation and improve the programme and vocational training quality.
Both VCCI and NHO desire to further strengthen future cooperation in the areas of mutual interests and both sides have developed the third phase of vocational training programme for aquaculture, which expects expansive deployment in Nha Trang City. NHO proposed the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) to keep funding the third phase of the programme.
