VME17 Promotes Global-to-Local Technologies to Boost Vietnam’s Manufacturing IndustryPosted: Thursday, March 16, 2017
For those involved in manufacturing industry, especially who interests in metrology and assembly automation, there will be an exciting exhibition "Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2017"(VME17) from 26 - 28 April organized at Hanoi International Center for Exhibition (I.C.E., Hanoi).
The show is planned to showcase latest machinery and technologies for the manufacturing and supporting industries by 200 brands from 20 countries. Two co-located exhibitions “Industrial Components & Subcontracting Vietnam (ICSV)” and “Vietnam Sheet Metal” will provide comprehensive experience for all participants.
The 9th international exhibition VME17 is fast gaining momentum to reach its track record as the industry’s foremost sourcing, procurement and information event for the manufacturing industry. This exhibition is expected to welcome 10,000 industrial part-making factory owners, engineers, production managers, and industrialists.

This year, Reed Tradex has increasingly cooperated with local associations to create the playground for Vietnam’s industrialist and engineering to show their ability. “VME17 Forum” will offer trainings and workshops helpful in manufacturing practice, with the honorable speaker from Vietnamese Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI).
However, “Vietnam Welding Competition,” supported by Vietnam-German Technology Transfer and Training Center (HwC), will encourage welders to see the importance of upgrading and improving their skills, which will, in turn, help manufacturers improve their competitiveness among Vietnamese industries. The competition consists of theory and practice exams, come find out who will be the best welder.
In addition at VME17, the second return of "KOMA TAISEN in Hanoi 2017" is endorsed as the most exciting competition of high precision spin tops which are represented for ability of Vietnam manufacturer to produce the high quality products.
Ms. Kasinee said: “Another highlight to this edition will be the international pavilions from Japan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore and Taiwan. The presence of international expertise will support the local industry in identifying the technological gaps that have hindered businesses from reaching desired production efficiency.”
