Ha Long and Trang An are two of Vietnam's most beautiful landscapes recognised by Unesco as World Heritage Sites. With picturesque natural sceneries plus low costs, Ha Long tours and Trang An tours have caught the fancy of many tourists. Tour bookings for May Day holidays have risen 20 - 30 per cent from a year ago.
Pham Thi Thu, Tour Manager of Hoa Binh International Investment, Trade and Tourism Company, said, “Ha Long Heritage Tour and Trang An Heritage Tour are the two most attractive tours we have witnessed since the beginning of the year. Although now is February, May Day tour bookings to Ha Long and Trang An have surged.”
The Ha Long Bay Heritage Site has 775 islands and many stunning beaches. Islands in the bay have their own shapes and beauty. Most of them are named after their shapes, characteristics or legendaries like Bai Tho Mountain, Tuan Chau Island, Con Coc Islet, Ga Choi Island, Ngoc Vung Island and Ti Top Island. The climate is distinctive with two different seasons: rainy season and dry season. The time from December to May is the perfect time to enjoy the gorgeous scenery.
Ha Long Bay also has many magnificent and famous caves. At the bay, tourists can sit on boats to explore mysterious caves. Many evidences backdated 11,000-years to 2 million years are found here.
Compared to “Ha Long Bay on the ground,” Trang An Scenic Landscape was recognised by Unesco as the only mixed World Heritage Site in Southeast Asia. Over 90 km south of Hanoi, this complex truly becomes an indispensable destination for domestic and foreign visitors.
Trang An is a clear evidence for the unique formation of limestone mountains in a humid tropical climate. It has been a continuous geologic activity in hundreds of years that forms a spectacular landscape of limestone mountains that open up a wild and captivating natural setting. Forest carpet, conical towers, narrow-enclosed valleys surrounded by interlocking slopes and swamps create a harmonious and lively environment.
Trang An has beautiful nature with mysterious mountains, caves and tranquil rivers along with sacred relics, abundant flora and fauna. Hence, Trang An tour has become a budget must-go tour.
Phan Thanh Tam, a young photographer in Hanoi, commented, “This is an ideal place for sightseeing, especially for those who love photography. With the scenic, vigorous and romantic landscape, you will have superb photos and this is a popular check-in place of young people.
Coming to Trang An, visitors will have the chance to see the unique beauty of nature, discover the ancient roots of humanity and enjoy the fresh and pure air. Moreover, local people, especially the tour guides, are always enthusiastic and attentive to satisfy all visitors.
Given their strong magnets, a lot of tours to Ha Long Heritage Site and Trang An Heritage Site have been created with different rates and providers, particularly during the upcoming May Day holidays.
