Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh and Mongolian FM Tsend Munkh-Orgil discussed on bilateral ties and regional and international issues during their talks in Ha Noi on April 3.
Vietnam attaches importance to consolidating and enhancing the traditional friendship and cooperation with Mongolia, affirmed Deputy PM, FM Minh.
He said Vietnam expects to work with Mongolia to further strengthen political trust, expand and improve the efficiency of economic cooperation as well as close coordination at multi-lateral forums.
The Southeast Asian country also stands ready to collaborate with Mongolia to effectively realize the agreements and common perceptions reached by their senior leaders during Vietnamese PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s visit to Mongolia in July 2016, the host said.
He suggested both sides should foster cooperation in key areas like diplomacy, security and defense, economy and trade.
Deputy PM, FM welcomed Mongolia’s intensive and extensive engagement in regional and international forums, highly valuing Mongolia’s position of supporting the maintenance of peace, stability and prosperity across the world.
Mongolian FM Tsend Munkh-Orgil highly appreciated the achievements of the bilateral ties over the past six decades, confirming Mongolia’s close coordination with Vietnam to implement the high-level agreements in a practical and effective manner, contributing to the expansion of the two countries’ relationship.
