Posted: Wednesday, April 26, 2017

On April 25, Facebook organized the Workplace Introduction and Partners stories, sharing the success stories of Workplace across Vietnamese companies.

The way people work is evolving quickly - it's becoming faster, mobile, more complex. At Workplace, we believe that being connected at work means you can get more done and work better, on-the-go.

Workplace by Facebook is a dedicated and secured communication platform helping companies to internally connect, communicate and collaborate at work. This platform utilizes familiar Facebook features like News Feed, Groups and Messages to help teams get things done. With the view to promoting human connections other than organizational charts as well as transforming the way teams are working together, Workplace is developed to bring genuine business benefits for organizations by reducing office operation costs and time wasted while securing efficiency by enabling people to work better together. Thanks to Workplace’s friendly interface and convenience, people can better communicate and share ideas, or raise questions and solutions within groups or publicly.

Ramesh Gopalkrishna, Head of Workplace, APAC at Facebook said: “Workplace is a dedicated and secure space for companies to connect, communicate and collaborate. Organizations of all sizes can use familiar Facebook features such as News Feed, groups, messages and events to get work done. 14,000 businesses are using Workplace, on every continent including Antarctica. We are excited to see more Vietnam businesses incorporate Workplace into their organizations to transform internal culture and communications that will help drive greater efficiency and productivity among their employees.”

In the future, Workplace will have more features deeply integrated with CRM and leading business systems such as Microsoft office 365, Salesforce /QUIP, Box, Dropbox.

Facebook has been approved by the Vietnamese Government; accordingly, the Government's e-portal will pilot Facebook Workplace for its 200 officers, said Facebook's representative.

In this event, Mr. Hoang Viet Ha - COO of FPT; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa - Head of MIS Department, BaoViet Life; Mr. Nguyen Vu Duc – Vice Executive Director of Contact Center, Head of Social Media Command Center, JSC Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - BIDV and Mr. Dang Quang Hung – Deputy Director, HocMai came to share their stories about how Workplace help empower their internal communications and increase business efficiency.
