Youth Gets More for Start-ups

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Microsoft Vietnam in cooperation with ACTION Club (Entrepreneur Skills Club) - Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Trade University jointly held the Management Trainee Programme 2017 - Professional Skills in the 21st century", part of the YouthSpark Career Readiness Project - Enhancing workmanship and entrepreneurship for the youth and connecting SMEs (more information, visit thanhnienvietnam.net.vn).

Management Trainee Programme 2017 is a contest simulating the process of standard recruitment in multinational companies and corporations in Vietnam organised to inspire and arouse the entrepreneurship and offer practical experience to students, thus laying a perfect stepping stone for dreams of becoming top executives at leading multinational corporations. Besides, the contest highlighted working knowledge and skills in modern environment, especially digital skills, to increase their competitiveness in the integrating labour market and connect with the SME community.

Formally launched on March 19, 2017, with the technical support of Navigos Search, P&G Group and KPMG, the contest went through four rounds with a variety of forms: Application letter assessment, written competence test, recruitment interview, skills training and situation solving. On May 14, 2017, the final contest with two rounds took place at the Equatorial Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City with the six best performing contestants competing in the final.
