VCCI to Host Market Surveys in England and Scotland

Posted: Monday, July 31, 2017

In the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom (UK) is the second largest economy with a strong influence on determination of EU and global affairs. However, its withdrawal from the EU and from the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), which is expected to come into effect in 2018, will entail many changes in import and export policies between the UK and the EU in general and between the UK and Vietnam as well.

In the face of these changes, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) plans to lead a study and survey programme called “Building effective business strategy with the UK market for Vietnamese companies in the context of export and import policy changes” from September 10 to 19, 2017 in Scotland and England.

The programme aims to assist Vietnamese businesses to understand the market and have appropriate plans and strategies to optimise and make the most of trade and investment relations with the UK and the EU.

Companies interested in the programme please contact Ms Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, Head of VCCI-ITB Project. Address: 4th floor, VCCI Tower, No. 09 Dao Duy Anh, Dong Da, Hanoi; Handset number: 0912 347 872; Fax: 024.3 577 0654; Email:
