Posted: Tuesday, September 05, 2017

The Banking Magazine recently cooperated with the Cooperative Bank of Vietnam (Co-opBank) and the Vietnam Association of People's Credit Funds to hold a scientific workshop called “Human resource development at cooperative credit institutions to meet new requirements and tasks” in Hanoi.

The workshop aimed to exchange scientific views and practical experiences to develop human resources for cooperative credit institutions; gather international experiences, lessons and issues in Vietnam; propose solutions and recommendations to develop and improve the quality of human resources for cooperative credit institutions to meet new requirements and tasks, especially in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The workshop drew the participation of many scientists, authorities, economists from universities, research institutes, training institutions, State management agencies, and cooperative credit organisations.

Associate Professor Dao Minh Phuc, Editor-in-Chief of Banking Magazine, said, the quality of human resources determines the success and failure of each business. However, the business environment is always changing and business entities are operating with intense competition. According to many experts, companies are not quick enough to adapt to new changes.
