Ericsson Appoints Denis Brunetti as President of Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) has appointed Denis Brunetti to the role of President leading Ericsson’s business in Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos. Denis has been involved in the global ICT industry for twenty six years having held numerous international management roles with Ericsson across a range of countries, including Australia, Hong Kong, Sweden, Vietnam and Sri Lanka.

Prior to this most recent appointment, Denis was Country Manager for Ericsson in Sri Lanka & Maldives for three years, after having previously served as Vice President of Ericsson Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos from 2008 to 2014. During his previous role in Vietnam, Denis was responsible for establishing and expanding Ericsson's long term strategic partnership with state owned Operator, VNPT Group. Denis was subsequently awarded the Campaign Medal by the government of Vietnam in March 2014 for his contribution to the development of the ICT industry in the market.

In Sri Lanka as Country Manager, Denis worked closely with the country’s leading Operators and the government in promoting a post-war nation building through ICT innovation and inclusion agenda, focusing on promoting gender diversity across the industry and developing Sri Lanka as an ’Island of Innovation’ for future 5G IoT endeavours in the South Asia region.
