Ba Huan Company: Efforts for Clean and Safe Products

Being considered one of the pioneers in the field of industrialisation of animal products, Ba Huan Co., Ltd has actively invested in building factories and modern production lines in order to continue to complete its food safety chain from farm to table. In particular, the company has put into operation a hi-tech egg processing plant in Hanoi since 2017, supplying eggs and other foods certified with clean and safe standards.

Accordingly, the two-ha hi-tech egg processing plant of Ba Huan in the North with a total investment of over VND110 billion has a capacity of 65,000 eggs per hour. All of the egg processing equipment in the plant is operated in an automation line, imported from Moba (the Netherlands), the world leader in poultry egg processing equipment. To ensure the supply of clean eggs to consumers, Ba Huan gives eggs a thorough standard treatment before they are packed. Specifically, eggs collected from livestock raisers will be transported to the plant and carefully washed and dried before having their shells UV irradiated.
The next step, the eggs are passed through the lamp system to be screened to remove damaged, cracked eggs or those with dirty shells and then cover air vents on the surface of the eggshell, thus limiting the invasion and return of the microorganism. The end of the process is to print the mark and sign for traceability of each egg when needed, weigh and package the finished products. With strict procedures, clean egg products from Ba Huan always ensure food hygiene and safety.

Besides investing in modern egg processing, the plant also builds a system of cool storage, cold storage for the purpose of preserving processed products such as sausage, fresh chicken, and salted eggs that are produced from the plants of Ba Huan in the South for the consumption in Hanoi market. In addition, all workers at the plant or visitors, before entering the processing area, packaging eggs are properly and completely sterilised.

With the operation of this processing plant in Hanoi, up to now, Ba Huan Company has completed the food safety chain from farm to table including a 18-ha farm raising hens for eggs, with a total of VND1 million hens; an animal feed processing plant with a capacity of 20 tonnes per hour in Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province; a two-ha egg processing plant with a capacity of 185,000 eggs per hour in Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City; a 5-ha food processing plant with a total capacity of 50 tonnes per day in Duc Hoa, Long An province and a 30-ha high-tech chicken raising farm with three million birds in Long An province. In the coming time, the company will continue to invest in the construction of poultry farms, food processing plants to diversify products to supply the North market, contributing to improving the quality of life.
