The General Department of Taxation (GDT) will name 1,000 biggest corporate taxpayers in Vietnam in 2017. In cases they have branches or dependent units, the amount of corporate income tax counted for them include the amount paid by their head offices and the amount paid by their branches and affiliated units. As for holding corporations, the parent company and each of its subsidiary and member companies will be separate entries on the rankings.

The provisional tax value may be greater than the officially settled value. If the tax value is primarily taken from tax debts in previous years, they will be considered for being excluded from the list.
