Revising Support Levels for Trade Promotion

The Prime Minister issued Decision 12/2019/QD-TTg revising support levels for trade promotion activities.

The Prime Minister’s decision amends and supplements regulations on formulation, management and implementation of the National Trade Promotion Program issued together with Decision 72/2010/QD-TTg dated November 15, 2010.

Accordingly, the maximum support level of 100% is applied to foreign trade promotion activities supported by the National Trade Promotion Program.

This level of support is also applied to trade promotion for mountainous, border and offshore localities and some contents of the Domestic Trade Promotion Program.

The support level of 70% is applied to sales activities: Bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas, industrial parks and urban areas through trading companies and cooperatives delivering services in localities according to plans approved by competent authorities.

The support level of 50% is applied to the following contents: Organizing trade fairs and exhibitions on general consumer goods, supplies, machinery and equipment for rural and agricultural development, and introducing products of Vietnamese companies to consumers on appropriate scale to consumers.
