BIDV Waives All Fees on Digital Channels, Launches Thank-you Package to Celebrate 65th Anniversary

In response to the Government's policy on "National Digital Transformation", especially in finance-banking, to encourage customers to increase non-cash payment toward its 65th anniversary, on January 1, 2022, BIDV waives all fees on digital channels and devotes VND65 billion to thank customers.

No fees on BIDV SmartBanking

From January 1, 2022, individual customers are exempted from all fees for transactions on BIDV SmartBanking, including money transfer, service maintenance, one-account management and OTT notification.

BIDV has previously waived and reduced money transfer fees many times; launched Bfree service packages exempting up to 10 types of fees; deployed a health support package with an interest rate of just 1% per annum; reduced interest rates, extended loan repayment terms and provided many other support solutions for customers to overcome difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2021 alone, BIDV’s support for customers amounted to VND7,900 billion.

Thank-you package of VND65 billion launched

To celebrate its 65th anniversary (April 26, 1957 - April 26, 2022), BIDV has launched its biggest ever thank-you package of VND65 billion for customers who have been with the bank in the past.

Accordingly, from January 1 to June 30, 2022, all new customers who register for BIDV SmartBanking and make at least one financial transaction will get a cash voucher of VND65,000, credited into their account.

BIDV will give a special offer to all customers using BIDV SmartBanking, including lifetime exemption of non-physical card issuance fees on BIDV SmartBanking such as card issuance fee and annual fee; and give 10 customers with the highest current account balance a piece of SJC 9999 gold bar a day throughout 2022 with the message “one year - 365 days of fortune and luck to customers".

With a completely free policy for customers transacting on digital channels, BIDV reaffirms its position as a leading retail bank in Vietnam, credited with effectively carrying out the National Digital Transformation Policy that advocates cashless payment, and supports the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
