Dai-ichi Life Vietnam Launches “Connect to Love - Happiness for Everyone” Project

Following to the series of activities and events marking its 15-year anniversary milestone (2007 - 2022), as well as responding to the project "Happiness - Dai-ichi" from Dai-ichi Life Group on the occasion of its 120th anniversary (1902 - 2022), Dai-ichi Life Vietnam Company (Dai-ichi Life Vietnam) officially launches the project “Connect to Love - Happiness for everyone”.

With the Group's new vision "To protect the health & well-being of all people for a happy future” to express the commitment to secure happiness and peace of mind to everyone, the project will focus on three following goals:

    • Happiness for Customers, Partners and Employees: demonstrating its commitment to secure happiness and peace of mind to each individual, each family through four experiential values: financial protection, wealth growth, health enhancement, and social connection.
    • Happiness for the Community: demonstrating its leading corporate social responsibility for a better life of the local communities.
    • Happiness for the Earth: demonstrating its commitment to global climate change action, protecting the environment, and working with ongoing efforts to build a future in which our next generations can live with happiness and peace of mind.

Accordingly, the project will be implemented from October 2022 throughout the year 2023 with a series of practical, synchronous, and large-scale programs and activities, which contribute to bringing peace of mind and happiness to customers, partners, employees and their families as well as the local communities, while promoting green growth, protecting the environment and eco system, focusing on efficient use of resources and energy. Key highlights are the attractive customer appreciation & customer experience enhancing programs, introducing new financial protection, investment and health care solutions with ultimate benefits to meet the diverse financial needs of customers; launching the community education program on environmental protection awareness and health care; implementing various significant CSR programs such as "Clean water for schools" - sponsoring water purifier systems to provide 15 million liters of clean water to schools in remote areas, children’s nutrition and education support for 15,000 disadvantaged children; launching the “Green Ever Green” program with "Green Office", "Reduce plastic waste, Reduce carbon emission" activities and planting 15,000 trees in big cities…

To build a premise for this project, in the first 9 months of 2022, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has implemented 7 customer appreciation  programs worth more than VND 12 billion; educational, health care support and environmental protection programs worth VND 5 billion, as well as various activities to promote a healthy "green lifestyle" at work. In particular, the community health training program initiated by Dai-ichi Life Vietnam through the annual Virtual Run "Dai-ichi Life - Road of Love 2022" has so far attracted nearly 15,000 participants and contributed VND 4 billion to help disadvantaged people across the country.
