Herbalife Vietnam Honored to Receive 2022 AMCHAM CSR Recognition

Herbalife Vietnam was honored to receive AMCHAM’S 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Recognition Award on Dec 02, 2022 in Hanoi recognizing member companies with best practice CSR programs in Vietnam.

Now in its seventh year, AmCham’s CSR Recognition Award Program identifies and recognizes AmCham member companies that demonstrate an understanding of the linkages between business operations and society, and who conduct business in a way that creates both long-term economic and social value.

Herbalife Vietnam has been proactive in many community support activities so far. The company carries out 7 Casa Herbalife Vietnam Program to provide daily healthy meals to more than 1,100 children in need at Dong Tam Social Protection Center (Binh Dinh), Huong Duong Orphanage (Hau Giang), Xa Dan Secondary School (Ha Noi), HCMC Women’s Charity Association (WOCA), Nghe An Social Activities Center, Viet Tri Orphans and Children with Disabilities Protection Center (Phu Tho) and Nguyen Dinh Chieu School (Ha Noi).

The company also coordinated with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to organize a Voluntary Blood Donation Day at Herbalife Vietnam’s office in Hanoi. The event received the participation of more than 100 Independent Members and Employees with nearly 100 blood units collected.

Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Manager of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia said: “We are proud that Herbalife Vietnam’s community support contributions have been again recognized by AMCHAM and we are very delighted that good corporate social responsibility practices are being widely shared among businesses and the general public nowadays. We believe that the more individuals and organizations join hands together to give back to the community, the more positive impact we can bring to our people and the planet”. 

Earlier this year, Herbalife Vietnam supported Vietnam Olympic Committee to organize 4 training courses on swimming skills to help prevent drowning risks among Vietnamese children in Cao Bang, Thanh Hoa, Can Tho and Dak Nong provinces.

Herbalife Vietnam was also listed in the top 100 sustainable businesses in Vietnam by VCCI for 6 consecutive years since 2017.
