HDBank is honored with the “Best Company to Work for in Asia” award
These awards recognize HDBank’s efforts in creating a positive and innovative working environment for its employees, as well as its achievements in implementing digital transformation across its operations.
According to a recent report by Navigos, the most important factor for employee retention is the working environment, followed by salary and corporate culture. These factors are also highly valued by potential candidates, who look for employers that offer not only competitive compensation and benefits, but also a supportive and collaborative work culture. HDBank has established a strong employer brand that attracts and retains talent in the banking industry. HDBank takes pride in being the only bank to be voted as the best place to work for six consecutive years. As of June 30, 2023, the bank has more than 17,000 employees working at 347 transaction points and thousands of points of sale (POS) across the country. Employees with more than five years of seniority account for 39% of the total workforce.
To foster employee development, HDBank regularly organizes various programs and initiatives, such as the “Golden Flower” program that rewards outstanding performance; the seniority recognition program that honors long-term commitment; and the HDBank Next Leaders program that identifies and trains internal candidates for key positions within the bank. In addition, HDBank Training Center provided 895 training courses for employees in 2022 and the first six months of 2023.
Furthermore, HDBank is always at the forefront of digital transformation in human resource management. As part of its strategic vision to become a leading digital bank, HDBank has implemented comprehensive digital solutions to enhance its operational efficiency and customer service. Digitization also enables employees to save time, increase interaction, collaborate with teams and customers, and improve their work performance. Some of the digital tools that HDBank has adopted include “People World” and “People HDBank” applications that optimize human resource management; “Workplace” and “Workplace Chat” applications that facilitate communication and information sharing; “E-Learning” platform that offers online training; and PPW and PP HDBank applications that simplify employee data and attendance management.
These remarkable factors have contributed to HDBank’s success in winning the “Best Company to Work for in Asia” Award for the sixth time and the “Digital Transformation” Award for the first time on August 3, 2023. This is also the first year that HR Asia introduced the “Digital Transformation Award” to highlight the innovative practices in the human resources field.
