That was the recommendation of the Vietnam Country Manager from Delta Electronics at the seminar “Smart Mobility Industry Networking” organized by TITA and TAITRA on November 1 in Hanoi. According to Mr. Tony Meng, the electric vehicle industry and charging infrastructure in Vietnam are developing rapidly, so there needs to be a comprehensive strategy and plan for sustainable development.

Director of Delta Electronics in Vietnam
Mr. Tony Meng

Please tell us why Delta Electronics participated in the seminar “Smart Mobility Industry Networking” organized by TITA and TAITRA?

Delta Electronics is the first high-tech enterprise in Taiwan committed to achieving RE100 and Carbon Neutrality goals by 2030, we focus on developing clean and highly efficient energy solutions to reduce emissions CO2. Previously, we participated in TAITRA 2035 E-Mobility for 3 consecutive years to share global experiences on how to reduce power consumption and CO2 emissions in the electric vehicle industry.

Organizing the seminar in Vietnam by TITA and TAITRA is a great opportunity for us to share this knowledge and experience with the electric vehicle industry community in Vietnam. We understand that Vietnam is experiencing a period of rapid development in the electric vehicle industry and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. We believe that through sharing knowledge and collaborating with partners and businesses in Vietnam, we can contribute to building a sustainable future for the electric vehicle industry in Vietnam.

The seminar attracted the participation of many enterprises in the field of Smart Mobility Industry

What was the main point of your speech on 'Global Trends in Electric Vehicle Charging'?

In this workshop, we presented important trends in electric vehicle charging infrastructure globally. We discussed the rapid development of electric vehicle charging networks, including fast and ultra-fast charging, and specifically highlighted how new technologies are contributing to progress in the field of electric vehicle charging and how to take advantage of these advances.

We also discuss the importance of managing electric vehicle charging infrastructure effectively to ensure that energy resources are used optimally.

I want to emphasize that it is time to plan for smart charging and optimize energy usage. This is very important in the context of the development of the electric vehicle industry.

As one of Delta Electronics' leading experts, what advice do you give to businesses and partners in the Vietnamese electric vehicle industry so they can anticipate and benefit from the development process in this field?

To anticipate and benefit from the development process in the field of electric vehicles, businesses need to prepare, invest strongly in research and development, and seek opportunities to cooperate with strategic partners. government and other companies in the industry, committed to quality and security.

I would like to emphasize that, safety and quality are the top priority, building a reliable and robust solution for long term business development, each charging station must provide international/international safety certification Join and get approval from the electricity management agency to check the line diagram, circuit breaker ratings, and current leakage on site, then the charging station can start operating.

From this conference, what do you think about new cooperation opportunities with businesses in the smart mobility industry in Vietnam?

We thank TITA and TAITRA for providing us with the opportunity to cooperate with local partners and customers. After the workshop, we were especially interested in creating a partnership with them and looking at how we could work together to promote the electric vehicle industry in Vietnam.

TAITRA 2035 E-Mobility (https://www.e-mobilityshow.com.tw) is an important event in the electric vehicle field in Taiwan. This is an initiative of TAITRA to promote the development of the domestic and international electric vehicle industry. The event focuses on key aspects of electric vehicles, including charging infrastructure developments, new technologies and solutions, as well as discussions on industry trends and opportunities.

TAITRA 2035 E-Mobility often attracts the participation of experts, businesses, and government agencies from many countries, especially electric vehicle manufacturers and companies operating in the infrastructure sector. charging floor. This event provides a platform to share knowledge, experience, and seek cooperation opportunities in the electric vehicle industry.

TAITRA 2035 E-Mobility often organizes discussions, exhibits products and services, as well as facilitates networking meetings between businesses and potential partners. This event plays an important role in shaping the future of the electric vehicle industry and contributes to accelerating the transition to environmentally friendly and sustainable vehicles.
