Mr. Ngo Truong Son, Chief of the Central Coordination Office for New Rural Development, said that the National Target Program on New Rural Development has been highly appreciated by Party and State leaders for its great, comprehensive and historic results. At first, the program aimed to enable all localities to meet new rural development standards. Currently, many communes are getting upgraded to advanced new rural development standards and model new rural development standards. After the model new rural development standard, there will be a “Smart New Rural Area” which will be empowered by digital transformation.
