The Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province said the export turnover of Dong Nai province was estimated at nearly US$7 billion in the six months of 2015, up 14.5 percent year on year. The province also spent US$6.5 billion on imports in the reporting period, thus enjoying a trade surplus of more than US$440 million.
Foreign-led businesses took US$5.9 billion of export value, private firms got nearly US$1 billion, and State-owned enterprises had US$120 million. Footwear, apparel, woodwork, machinery and spare parts were the key exports in the review period.
