Vipaco: Aspiration to Globalize Vietnamese Brands

Viet Investment Packaging Investment, Application and Production Co., Ltd (Vipaco) has dramatically grown in scale, status and position in the packaging production. During 15 years of construction and development, Vipaco has successfully exported its products to three major markets, namely Japan, the United States and Europe. Winning international markets

Vipaco's predecessor is Tan Hoang Anh Co., Ltd., established in 2002 in Hanoi. To meet its development, in 2006, the company built the first factory, covering 5,800 square meters in Giai Pham commune, Yen My district, Hung Yen province, marking the birth of Vipaco. This progress became an important premise for Vipaco to expand its market and reach international markets.

At present, Vipaco's packaging products are not only well received by domestic consumers, but also widely popular in major export markets in Japan, the United States and Europe as they meet quality, environment and ISO standards. The company was honored to be awarded the Certificate of Merit for "Excellent achievements in project implementation - Improved productivity and quality of industrial products and goods" by the Minister of Industry and Trade. It also had a lot of other popular awards.

To make distinctive products of high quality that meet European quality and environmental standards, Vipaco decided to invest in modern technology lines, completely imported from Taiwan, Japan and Italy. When it conducted research, the company found that biodegradable plastic packages will be a sustainable solution to reduce plastic waste in the environment. For that reason, Vipaco has focused on developing this strategic product line and received the trust of consumers.” Vipaco’s first products, T-shirt bags and shopping bags, quickly won the trust of customers and affirmed its right vision, business plan and market development approach.

Taking the lead in applying cutting-edge packaging technology, since 2006, Vipaco has created a new trend in the industry, especially with biodegradable garbage bags that are well received by consumers and become the best product of the class on the market for the time being.

Employing technology and quality management standards according to ISO 9001, ISO-14001, ISO-50001, SA-8000 and 5S norms ensures that all of its products on the market are of high quality, delivered on time to customers. Applying automation technology also helps Vipaco factories to reduce material loss in production.
