Vietnamese Firm Ships 300 Metal Processing Machines to US
Haiphong Manufacturing Company said has exported some 300 metal processing machines worth roughly US$400,000 in total to the US so far this year.
The above batch is part of the contract manufacturing metal processing machines for the US’s TAAG started in 2005.
With this contract, Haiphong Manufacturing Company has become the first Vietnamese firm shipping such machines to the US market.
The company has over the past three years spent VND12 billion (US$750,000) on manufacturing equipment and technologies including 20 imported automatic equipments to improve the quality of its products.
Traditional products of the company are lathes, small-sized drillers and motorbike parts. (VNA)
