Dai An Industrial Zone (IZ), with its area of 170.82 ha, was established upon the Decision 317/CP-CN dated March 21, 2003 by the Prime Minister of Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
But Dai An IZ has been filled up the with investment projects, the Prime Minister of Socialist Republic of Vietnam has decided to allow Dai An Joint Stock Company to expand Dai An IZ to increase its area to 470 ha Order 1059/TTg-CN dated July 07, 2006 and now expansion area of Dai An IZ ready to welcome all domestic and foreign investors over the world invest in the Dai An I Z.
As a part of the North Key Economic Region consists of Hanoi, Hai Phong cities, and Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, Huong Yen, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh and Ha Tay provinces. Dai An IZ is a hub to neighboring provinces in northern of Vietnam.
About 50 km from Hanoi capital, 80 km from Noi Bai International Airport, 51 km from Hai Phong (gateway to the sea of Northern provinces), 82 km from Cai Lan seaport (the largest deep-water seaport in the north of Vietnam with the capacity to berth 50.000 tones vessels), 1.5 km from Cao Xa railway station, 2 km from Tien Kieu River harbor, Dai An IZ has a very convenient to circulate trading through land, rail, water and air transportation systems that would lead to cost effective and economical operations.

The Dai An IZ’s executive board is based in the management area, next to the main axes and external road. Local administration offices are also found here, such as police, the tax department, medical center, post office and others, as well as Residential Area for the workers and experts. Dai An IZ will support investors to obtain investment and business licenses in the shortest possible time, and assist investors to employ and train a workforce.
The population of Hai Duong, including traditional skilled workers, provides all workforce needs at Dai An IZ. Apart from the population in cities and towns, a significant number of agricultural workers are available to work in industry as a result of restructuring away from agriculture.
