Singaporean Firm's US$55-Mln Property Project Okayed for Northern Port

Singapore’s Agape Vietnam Ltd. Company has received a license from northern port Haiphong city’s authorities to build a trade-office-apartment complex worth US$55 million in the city, the Dau Tu (Investment) newspaper reported May 30.
 
The Waterfront city Development project will include 20 villas to be located on a 15,000 square meter site and 1,700 apartments of 30,000 square meters.
 
It also houses an internationally-standardized trade and shopping center and a school covering 5,000 square meters each.
 
The complex, to be built on Lach Tray riverside urban area in Le Chan district, will have a total area of 30 hectares.
 
The Vincom Haiphong Joint Stock Company May 10 began construction on an US$87.5 million deluxe trade-office-apartment complex in Haiphong city, Vietnam News Agency reported.
 
Vincom Plaza, the biggest multifunctional complex in the city, will occupy 9,125 square meters and have 31 stories, including a three-storey basement. (Investment)
