VietnamNorthern Province Seeks VND370 Bln to Exploit Minerals by 2015

The Vietnamese northern Thai Nguyen province will mobilize VND370 billion (US$22.42 million) from enterprises to explore, exploit and process lead and zinc ores by 2015.
 
Of the total sum, VND235 billion is scheduled for exploitation.
 
Between 2008 and 2015, Thai Nguyen will mine seven ore mines in districts of Dong Hy, Phu Luong and Dai Tu, and survey 32 other mines in the province.
 
The province targets an output of 90,000-150,000 tons of crude ores annually. (VNA, Vietnam Economic Times)
