Vietnam International Agriculture Fair 2008 to Open in Mekong Delta City

The Vietnam International Agriculture Fair 2008 will be held from December 3 to 9 at the International Exhibition Fair Centre in southern Can Tho province with the theme of “Products, branding, quality and technology: Towards the firm development of Vietnam agriculture”, the Voice of Vietnam reported.

 

The international fair focuses on large-scale agriculture and will draw nearly 600 booths from 370 domestic and foreign businesses, displaying technical agricultural achievements, farming economic development projects, food processing and various goods.

 

Under the framework of the fair, forums, seminars and conferences will take place, in addition to an awards ceremony for high-quality agriculture products.

 

The fair is co-organized by the Trade Promotion Agency (VIETTRADE), the Can Tho Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the provincial International Exhibition Fair Company (EFC) and the Vietnam Farmers Association-Can Tho City. (VoV)
