Vietnam Plans VND30.9 Tln for Green Power Projects By 2025
Vietnam plans to invest up to VND30.9 trillion (US$1.828 billion) to develop green power projects from now to 2025, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The MOIT has recently submitted the scheme on renewable power program to the government for approval.
The ministry said out of 287.48 megawatts from four main renewable energy sources, wind-to-power and solar energy potentials account for approx 1 per cent while hydropower plants of small size are most preferred thanks to low-cost construction costs. (
