More Online Payment Sites to Open
PayportDNA Joint Stock Co. has launched www.payportDNA.com.vn to facilitate online payment among commercial banks and enterprises in Vietnam.
“The website will operate as an online debit card as local consumers are afraid of confidentiality of other online payment services through credit cards or e-wallets,” said PayportDNA’s marketing director Tang Kim Phung.
The company has connected its system to DongA Bank and VIB Bank and will expand to more financial institutions.
The website helps customers pay for air tickets, water and electric bills, mobile phone charges and hotel rooms through B2B (business to business) or B2C (business to customer) e-commerce websites.
Separately, Vietnam Payment Solution Joint Stock Co. has been approved to provide VN Mart, a pilot online payment service, for five organizations this year. (Saigon Economic Times)
