Vietnam’s Q1 Exports to Spain Up 7.52 per cent to EUR249.324M
Vietnam reportedly exported EUR249.324 million worth of commodities to Spain in the first three months of this year, up 7.52 per cent on-year.
The country also imported EUR23.087 million worth of goods from the European country during the period, an on-year fall of 24.16 per cent, resulting in Vietnam’s trade surplus of EUR226.237 million.
Vietnam mainly shipped footwear, apparel and accessories, coffee, rubber, seafood, wood furniture, leather products and machines, while importing machines and equipment, chemicals, foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and rubber products.
Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Spain hit a record high of EUR1.079 billion in 2008, including EUR972.563 million worth of Vietnam’s exports, up 16.45 per cent on-year and EUR106.106 million worth of imports from Spain, up 6.94 per cent. (Vietnam & World Economy)
