The Mercure brand introduces to the Hotel Du Parc a renewed sense of hospitality and provides guests a link to the culture of this picturesque Vietnamese hill city.
Accor, the largest international hotel operator in Vietnam, announced on December 16, the rebranding of Novotel Dalat to Mercure Dalatto enable the distinctive character and style of this historical hotel formally known as the Hotel Du Parc to be expressed.
“The hotel being rebranded as a Mercureis a strategic move that will allow the hotel to reflect its true personality with the city’s inimitable identity and heritage,” says Mr. Patrick Basset, Accor’s Vice President for Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea and Japan.
Famous for its array of flowers and fresh produce, Dalat is a unique destination with a rich history and distinctive location, amidst the beautiful highlands of Vietnam. Dalat is surrounded by lakes and waterfalls with mild to cool temperatures all year round.
Built in 1932 as the Hotel Du Parc, the 144-room hotel will maintain its glorious French colonial style invigorating some of the past traditions while embracing some of Mercure’s worldwide brand promises.
Mercure Dalat is conveniently located in the heart of Dalat, within a few minutes walk from the man-made Xuan Huong Lake, and for those who love golf, the Dalat Palace Golf Club’s lavish greens are nearby. Other tourist attractions in Dalat include Emperor Bao Dai’s Palace, the Dalat Museum and Vuon Hoa Dalat botanical garden.
