Accor Group to Double Hotel Rooms in Vietnam in 2012
Accor International Hotel Management Group plans to double the group's hotel rooms in Vietnam in 2012, said Patrick Basset, vice director of Accor Group in Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea and Japan at a press conference in HCM City on Mar 10.
New hotels under the group's management would be named as Novotel, Mercure, MGallery and Ibis.
At present, the group manages 13 hotels with 2,147 rooms in the country. It is expected that there will be more than 2,000 hotel rooms to be put into operation in the next two years.
Up to 2012, Accor Group planned to operate new hotels of Mercure Hado Hanoi with 250 rooms and two ibis hotels in HCM City with total amount of 500 rooms.
Accor now has a network of more than 4,000 hotels in 90 countries worldwide. (Youth, VietnamNet)
