Viet-US Trade Goes Online in the US
The Vietnam Commercial Affairs Agency in the US has officially launched a trade website in Vietnamese (www.vietnam-ustrade.org), following the English version, reports the Vietnam Trade Promotion Department (Vietrade).
Vietnamese Commercial Counsellor in the US, Nguyen Duy Khien, says the homepage in English introduces key Vietnamese products and producers to US partners while the Vietnamese one will provide information about the American market and partners to Vietnamese enterprises. The later will offer an overview of the US market, trade law, import regulations, Vietnam-US trade relations, potentials and opportunities for export to the US, trade fairs and exhibitions, import tariffs, business culture and useful addresses for Vietnamese businesspeople.
An official of Vietrade, who remains anonymous, says he hopes the website will assist local enterprises to quickly increase their export sales to this potential market.
