South Asia Expo & Kunming Fair to Open in June
The China-South Asia Expo and the 23rd China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair (Kunming Fair) are scheduled to be held in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China from June 12 to 16, 2015. The Vietnamese business delegation to these events will be led by the Local Industries Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and ADPEX Joint Stock Company.
According to Department of Local Industries, South Asia Expo & Kunming Fair will have 13 halls, each covering 4,500 square metres, with more than 6,000 booths, doubling the scale of the event from previous years.
More than 150 Vietnamese companies will register 300 booths to exhibit their products like seafood, rice, coffee, cashew nut, footwear, perfume and handcrafts.
To support producers of export rice, seafood, and agro-forestry products, the organisers have offered free booths to them to exhibit and introduce their typical products to Chinese businesses and consumers, as well as seek export opportunities from international businesses.
Many strategic workshops will be organised during these events, including Workshop on China - East Asia Comprehensive Cooperation, and Workshop on Directions to GMS Economies.
