Suoi Dau Industrial Zone Speeding up Investment Attraction

Suoi Dau Industrial Zone invested by Suoi Dau Industrial Zone Joint Stock Company (Sudazi) is situated on 133.95 ha in Suoi Tan commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province. Naturally endowed with a prime location-a short drive from National Highway 1A, 25 km from Nha Trang City, 25 km from Nha Trang Seaport, 35 km from Cam Ranh Seaport and Cam Ranh International Airport, and with a stable national grid and water supply and highly qualified labour force, the industrial park is well-suited for construction and development of various industries for local socioeconomic development and for export.

Over the past 20 years of construction and development, Suoi Dau Industrial Zone has constantly improved and upgraded its infrastructure systems such as traffic, power grid, water supply, rain water drainage, warehousing and automatic waste monitoring facilities and affirmed its high prestige and good impression among investors.

As of December 31, 2016, Suoi Dau Industrial Zone had become a leading industrial zone in Khanh Hoa province by scale, technical infrastructure and service quality with 47 active investment projects engaged in export seafood processing, woodwork processing, wooden furniture export, garment and textile, mechanical and precision engineering and others. The total leased area is 730,396.7 square metres, or an occupancy rate of 78.7 per cent. The registered investment capital by tenants was US$96.628 million and VND2,340.503 billion. Their export turnover was US$81.554 million and VND6,360.177 billion. Tenants employed 11,496 workers.

To draw more investors, on March 1, 2017, Sudazi issued the latest regulation on investment attraction in Suoi Dau Industrial Zone.

Specifically, tenants will have land rents slashed if they individually sign to lease more than 10,000 square metres, pay one-time rentals, or invest in sectors that use a lot of services provided by the company such as beer and beverage production, seafood processing and food processing.

In addition, Sudazi pledges to keep the current land rental at Suoi Dau Industrial Zone until its full occupancy; supports investors with such incentives as land rental delay by 6-12 months; pays for land mapping services for tenants (VND20-50 million each tenant); offers free services in 6-12 months (waste collection, parking fees, etc.); offers free administrative procedures and legal consultations for investors in the shortest time.
