VICTORIA PREMIUM: Helping Raise Life Quality

As the first social housing project for low-income earners in Tien Giang province, Victoria Premium is known for its elegant and high-class design like upmarket commercial projects. Carrying its mission of "For a prosperous community", Victoria Real Property Management Co., Ltd, the investor of the project, reduced its cost to minimum to enable anyone to buy a house of low price but high quality. Mr. Nguyen Tan Dang Huy, Director of Victoria Real Property Management Co., Ltd - Tien Giang Branch, offers an exclusive interview to Vietnam Business Forum.

Determined to go with the local government to carry out social security policies, Victoria Real Property Management Co., Ltd launched the Victoria Premium project. Could you please briefly introduce this project?

Trusted and facilitated by Tien Giang Provincial People’s Committee and local agencies, Victoria Real Property Management Co., Ltd was licensed to invest in Victoria Premium, an apartment project in My Tho City, in June 2020. Covering a total area of 4,059 square meters, the project comprises two 9-story buildings and a 10-story building with 203 apartments, commercial service areas, swimming pools and sports facilities. The project cost VND151 billion investment capital.

During the construction process, the investor found many solutions to adjust and update designs and added smart systems for buildings and apartments. Operation management services such as parking and lifting are integrated with the apartment smart system, aiming to elevate social housing projects, and bring most satisfaction, convenience and comfort to residents and customers using Victoria Premium apartments.

In 2020-2021, the complicated evolution of COVID-19 epidemic adversely affected most businesses. Fortunately, with the direction and support of Tien Giang Provincial People’s Committee, My Tho City People’s Committee, and Department of Construction among other agencies and the endeavor of Victoria employees, the project was completed in late 2021.

We hoped that Victoria Premium, after being put into operation, will become a unique, modern architectural masterpiece of My Tho City that will partially meet housing needs of local people, gradually improve life quality and ensure security for the people.

To give the most comfortable and convenient living experience to residents, how synchronously was Victoria Premium invested?

Victoria Premium, situated on Nguyen Trung Truc Street, has a total of 203 apartments, including 16 shophouses and 187 smart apartments with an individual area ranging from 46m2 to 67m2. The complex also has swimming pools, green areas and terrace coffee houses to give dwellers the most modern and comfortable living space.

What do you think about the current demand for social housing in Tien Giang province? Following the success of Victoria Premium, will the company continue to implement more projects in the province?

Currently, the demand for social housing in Tien Giang is very huge, especially when there are a lot of workers in My Tho City, Tan Huong Industrial Park and other manufacturing bases seeking to have living places.

Currently, our company is cooperating with Hoang Quan Company to construct 18 social buildings covering 6 ha in Tan Huong, Chau Thanh, Tien Giang to address housing needs for residents and workers there.

Victoria Company is also completing investment documents for Nguyen Tri Phuong social housing project in My Tho City, Tien Giang province to address social housing and security needs for low-income earners.

Do you have any suggestions for Tien Giang province to achieve socioeconomic development goals?

Given a large number of active businesses in Tien Giang province, the housing demand of residents and workers is very large, especially accommodations for low-income earners. This is a basic criterion of local socioeconomic development.

To meet real housing needs in Tien Giang province, our company wishes to obtain permission from the provincial government and agencies for construction of the 5-floor Tan Huong social housing project (from previously approved 10 floors) to better satisfy local needs.
