Premier health and wellness company and community Herbalife Vietnam has organized a series of Mid-Autumn celebrations for more than 1,100 children at seven Casa Herbalife Centers nationwide with a variety of fun and meaningful activities brought by the company’s independent members and employees.
The program has created a lot of positive energy and excitement through the interaction between the volunteers and the children, the singing, dancing and martial arts performed by the children, and the joyful lantern-making competitions. Herbalife Vietnam's independent members and employees also presented generous gifts to the children including mooncakes and school stationery.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hue, President of the Women's Charity Association of HCMC (WOCA), said: "It is true happiness seeing all of you giving your time to bring a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival to underprivileged children at our seven shelters. The long-term and continuous support from Herbalife Vietnam and the Casa Program means a lot to our children. It gives them more confidence to overcome difficulties to become successful in the future."
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, principal of Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School, said: "I am thankful for the love and care Herbalife Vietnam's independent members and employees have given to our students. The event created unforgettable memories for the students and supported them to overcome anxiety and feel happier. On behalf of the school and the children, I would like to thank Herbalife Vietnam for your kindness and great support to our underprivileged students."
Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Manager of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said: “Giving back to the community is our proud tradition and we’re so delighted that our voluntary activities have always received strong support and active participation from our independent members and employees. The Mid-Autumn Festival is part of our annual community support agenda which is aimed at helping children and communities in need to live happier and have better health and wellness in the long run.”
The Casa Herbalife Vietnam Program was launched in 2013 in alignment with the Casa Herbalife Nutrition Program by the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation (HNF) to provide good nutrition to children in need around the world. Since then, the Casa Herbalife Vietnam Program has helped more than 1,100 needy children at seven Casa Herbalife Vietnam centers to have access to healthy nutrition on a daily basis with total grants of over VND 17 billion. In 2021, Herbalife Vietnam also introduced the Star Program to its Casa Herbalife Vietnam centers to help these children have better knowledge of healthy food and to build routines of regular exercise.
