14th Jewellery Fair to be Held

The 14^th Vietnamese Jewellery Fair will be held at the Nguyen Du Club for Culture and Sports, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City from November 16 and 20, 2005 with the participation of 56 enterprises, eight of which are foreign companies.

 

The fair was divided into two display areas for the latest jewellery items and machines. The fair’s new features include a seminar on ‘Promoting jewellery export’, which will be held by the Saigon Jewellery Comapny (SJC), the World Gold Council and the DC Company, to discuss measures to export Vietnamese jewellery items to the US, and two contests on jewellery design and jewellery products. Total value to prizes of the two contests reaches VND 180 million.

 

SJC alone launches a promotion programme with prizes valued at 40 taels of SJC gold. The company provides free consultancy services on how to care and polish jewellery items.
