Hanoi Master Plan to Develop Craft Villages until 2050

In the plan for rural industry development in 2024, the Hanoi People's Committee aims to complete the overall project of developing craft villages in Hanoi city during 2024 - 2030, with a vision of 2050.

Implementing Decree No. 52/2018/ND-CP of the Government on Rural Industry Development, every year, Hanoi People's Committee develops specific plans to implement solutions to develop rural industries in the Capital area.

Recently, Plan No. 111/KH-UBND on Rural Industry Development in Hanoi City in 2024 was issued by the Hanoi People's Committee, which targets 3 main goals

Specifically, striving to recognize 15 craft villages and traditional craft villages in 2024; Promulgated regulations on several contents and levels of support for rural industries and craft villages according to Decree No. 52/2018/ND-CP of the Government.

In particular, the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside and coordinate with departments and localities to develop a master plan for developing craft villages in Hanoi during 2024 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

To realize the above goal, Hanoi People's Committee has proposed 7 key groups of solutions. Among them, the number 1 priority is to develop and implement policies; apply science and technology; human resource training, as well as propaganda, advertising, and trade promotion
