Recently, at CT7 Apartment, Duong Noi Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with Ha Dong District People's Committee to organize the opening of the Consulting and Introduction Week, and promote the consumption of OCOP products, craft villages, and safe agricultural and food products. Every week takes place within 5 days (May 23 - 27).

Every week has brought interesting shopping opportunities to residents of CT7 Duong Noi in particular and Ha Dong district in general. This week is organized with a scale of 50 booths, converging over 500 OCOP products, regional specialties of Hanoi, and 18 provinces and cities nationwide such as Hai Phong, Hoa Binh, Quang Nam, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Thanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Hai Duong, Vinh Phuc,... Hanoi has 20 booths with over 100 OCOP products.

At the event's opening, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoa, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said that Hanoi has 1,350 craft villages and vocational villages. Of the 2,711 OCOP products in the Capital, craft villages contributed 745 products.

Recently, Hanoi city has paid great attention to the quality and safety of OCOP products, craft village products, and products in the agricultural sector. Currently, the production capacity of agricultural and food products as well as craft village products can only meet 20% - 70% of the consumption needs of more than 10 million residents and tourists in the Capital.

Weekly participants are entities whose OCOP products are recognized with 3 stars or more; products registered to participate in the OCOP product evaluation and classification contest in 2024; Potential regional specialty products participating in the OCOP Program in localities, craft village products, and safe agricultural and food products. Hanoi requires participating products to ensure quality, food safety, and traceability according to regulations.
