Premier health and wellness company Herbalife Vietnam has been the Nutrition Sponsor of the VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon for the second year in a row. The VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2024, held from the 21st to 23rd of June, marked the fifth anniversary of this marathon tournament being organized at the beautiful coastal city in South Central Vietnam. This year’s tournament attracted the participation of more than 8,000 national and international runners.
Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Manager for Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said: “Our continued sponsorship of VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon is aligned with Herbalife’s priority of fostering the health and well-being of people and communities. We are delighted that this event has received a strong response from runners nationwide. The VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2024 participants – international and national professional athletes and amateur runners – competed in short-, middle-, and long-distance races, spanning 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km respectively. The race routes allowed the participants to experience and discover the fantastic scenery and tourist attractions of Quy Nhon City. The running routes allowed the participants to discover the beauty of the central coastal city. They were able to watch the sun rise over the sea, cross the 7km-long Thi Nai Sea Bridge, pass the wind farm and long dunes, and enjoy a panoramic view of Thi Nai lagoon and Quy Nhon City.
The VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2024 is the first of a series of marathon tournaments organized by VnExpress that Herbalife will support this year. Upcoming events are in Nha Trang in August, Ha Long in September, and Hai Phong in December.
