423 Firms Showcase Products at MTA Vietnam 2006

As many as 423 companies from 32 countries and territories have taken part in the second International Exhibition of Machine Tools and Precision Engineering (MTA Vietnam 2006), which was opened in Ho Chi Minh City on March 1.
 
The four-day event, which is jointly organized by the Exhibition Services Company of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Singapore Exhibition Services Pte.Ltd, showcases industrial machinery and equipment, and introduces the latest technologies.
 
Exhibitors include Agie Charmilles, Brother, Citizen, Mitsubishi Electric, Nikon, Hexagon Metrology, Sandvik and Kyocera.
 
The exhibition will help local companies learn about technological trends and profit from business opportunities. Many foreign investors are also interested in using MTA to meet potential partners.
 
To connect enterprises, seminars at the exhibition will discuss the development and investment demands of the automobile industry, the challenges of human resource training and other topics.
 
At MTA Vietnam 2005, foreign and domestic enterprises signed business contracts worth a total of US$30 million.
