The logo for Vietnam pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai was recently unveiled at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
The logo represents the intersection of tradition, modernity, and the future while celebrating the friendship between Vietnam and Japan. The central image features a Vietnamese woman dressed in a white long dress, wearing a traditional conical hat, and gently holding a pink lotus - a symbol of wisdom and the Vietnamese soul. Surrounding her, multicolored clouds inspired by the traditional Hang Trong folk paintings reflect the connection between heritage and creativity. The large circular background represents both the Earth and Japan - the "Land of the Rising Sun" - symbolizing global integration.
The event also marked the first official visit of Myaku-Myaku, the official mascot of EXPO 2025, to Vietnam. During its visit, Myaku-Myaku explored several iconic landmarks in Hanoi, including the Temple of Literature, the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, and the Old Quarter, bringing a message of connectivity and innovation from EXPO 2025.
The Vietnam Pavilion at EXPO 2025 promises to showcase the most compelling stories of a green, sustainable, and globally connected Vietnam to the world.
