VinFast has announced a strategic partnership with Plugsurfing – one of Europe’s largest electric vehicle charging service providers – to elevate the mobility experience for its customers.

Under the agreement, VinFast users will gain access to over 1 million public charging points across 24 countries via the VinFast app, enabling a seamless and convenient travel experience throughout Europe. In VinFast’s three key European markets – Germany, France, and the Netherlands – the Plugsurfing network already offers more than 550,000 charging points.

With over a decade of experience, Plugsurfing has built an extensive partner network, serving more than 2 million customers across Europe. This collaboration addresses one of the EV market’s greatest challenges in Europe – the fragmentation of charging infrastructure caused by the presence of multiple providers and platforms.

Notably, owners of VinFast VF 6 and VF 8 models will receive new charging cards free of charge to replace their existing ones. All charging history and account balances will be preserved, ensuring uninterrupted service and retaining accumulated benefits.

Ms. Le Ngoc Chi, CEO of VinFast Europe, emphasized: “The philosophy of ‘Customer-Centricity’ has always been the guiding principle at VinFast. Partnering with Plugsurfing not only expands our charging network but also enhances convenience and ensures a seamless user experience, thereby accelerating the transition to electric mobility in Europe.”

On the partner side, Ms. Sofia Diakhate, CEO of Plugsurfing, expressed her enthusiasm: “We are excited to work with VinFast to shape a bright future for electric mobility in Europe. Plugsurfing will continue to grow our network, deliver reliable and accessible services, and support VinFast’s expansion in the region.”

In Europe, VinFast currently offers two smart EV models: the VF 6 in the B-segment and the VF 8 in the D-segment. The company is expanding its dealership, distribution, and after-sales network in key markets, including France, Germany, and the Netherlands. VinFast also partners with reputable service providers, including ATU (Germany), Norauto (France), LKQ (the Netherlands), and Fixico, to deliver high-standard maintenance and repair services, thereby reinforcing customer trust.

This move is part of VinFast’s long-term strategy to affirm its commitment to sustainable development in Europe while laying the groundwork for expansion into other international markets. The company is also ramping up its presence in Indonesia, the Philippines, India, the Middle East, and North America, reflecting its global ambition to drive the green mobility movement.

VinFast (NASDAQ: VFS), a subsidiary of Vingroup – one of Vietnam’s largest private conglomerates – is dedicated to making EVs more accessible to everyone. Its diverse product portfolio spans electric SUVs, e-scooters, e-bikes, and electric buses. In its next phase of growth, VinFast is focusing on rapidly expanding its distribution network, strengthening manufacturing capabilities, and targeting key markets in North America, Europe, and Asia.

The partnership with Plugsurfing marks not only a significant milestone in VinFast’s global strategy but also a strong statement of its commitment to accompanying customers on the journey toward a greener, more convenient, and sustainable transportation future.
