The Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam (MOET) has officially recognized Cambridge English Qualifications within the national education system, in accordance with current circulars related to admissions, postgraduate programs, exam exemptions, and graduation requirements at key educational levels.
Under the provisions of Circulars No. 01/2014/TT-BGDĐT, 24/2024/TT-BGDĐT, Circular No. 13/2026/TT-BGDĐT on amendments and supplements to several articles of the Regulation on the High School Graduation Examination issued together with Circular 24/2024/TT-BGDĐT, 23/2021/TT-BGDĐT, and 18/2021/TT-BGDĐT, Cambridge English Qualifications are recognized and applied in the following cases:
Exemption from the Foreign Language component in the National High School Graduation Exam
Circular 13/2026/TT-BGDĐT, effective from 24 April 2026, continues to recognise the following Cambridge English Qualifications for exemption from the English subject in the 2026 High School Graduation Examination:
Recognition in Master’s Degree Programs
Under Circular 23/2021/TT-BGDĐT, Cambridge English Qualifications are accepted for both entry and graduation requirements in Master’s programs:
Recognition in Doctoral Programs
According to Circular 18/2021/TT-BGDĐT, Cambridge English certificates recognized for the entry requirements of Doctoral programs include:
