Meeting Higher Fire Safety Requirements in the New Era
In recent years, the Party, the Government and the Ministry of Public Security have set increasingly higher requirements for fire safety. Directive 47-CT/TW of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on strengthening the Party’s leadership over fire safety; Resolution 43-NQ/TW on building and developing Da Nang through 2030, with a vision to 2045; and new technical regulations and standards issued by the Ministry of Public Security all aim to build safe, smart urban areas capable of adapting to rapid urbanization. In line with this direction, Da Nang City Police, particularly the Fire and Rescue Police force, has stepped up inspections and appraisals and raised technical standards for key projects, especially at Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, industrial parks and large complexes. This has also provided ATAT with an opportunity to demonstrate its professional capabilities through a series of large-scale projects requiring stringent technical standards. According to its 2026 capacity profile, the company has provided consulting, design, appraisal and supervision services for many key projects in Da Nang and provinces and cities nationwide.
One of the company’s notable projects is the Long Hau Da Nang High-Tech Factory project at Hoa Lien Hi-Tech Park. ATAT participated in preparing design documents, obtaining design approval and constructing fire safety systems for the CNC J4-01 and J4-04 factories, with a contract value of more than VND5 billion. In a high-tech manufacturing environment where automated machinery, electrical systems and flammable materials are operated intensively, fire safety requirements are almost as important as operational requirements. Even a minor oversight could cause losses of tens of billions of VND, disrupt production lines and affect the investment environment.
Demonstrating Capabilities Through Key Projects
In addition to working with industrial parks, ATAT has also established a presence in real estate, education and urban infrastructure. At the Misa Complex Building project in Da Nang, the company provided consulting, design, appraisal and construction services for the fire safety system as the main contractor. At the Hoa Hiep 4 Resettlement Social Housing project and the Renovation and Expansion of T2 International Passenger Terminal - Da Nang International Airport project, the company continued to participate in appraising the fire safety system design, with contract values of hundreds of millions of VND. These projects have high residential density and large numbers of people, requiring fire alarm, emergency evacuation and firefighting systems to be carefully designed and calculated in every detail.
In particular, ATAT’s participation in consulting, appraising and obtaining approval for the fire safety system at the Da Nang IDC Data Center in Hoa Lien Hi-Tech Park shows that the company is gradually expanding into digital infrastructure projects, a field regarded as the “heart” of the digital economy. At data centers, fire and explosion risks not only cause property damage but also threaten data security, cybersecurity and the operations of the entire digital ecosystem. Therefore, fire safety standards in these facilities are often very stringent, requiring consultants to understand not only construction engineering but also the specific characteristics of technology.
According to Nguyen The Huy Tuan, Director of ATAT Consulting, Design and Construction Joint Stock Company, with the rapid pace of urban development, fire safety must be viewed as part of a sustainable development strategy rather than a “supplementary stage” added at the end. “A modern project must not only have good architecture or strong functionality, but above all, ensure people’s safety. We believe that every drawing and every fire safety design solution is directly related to human lives, property and the investor’s reputation. Therefore, ATAT always puts technical requirements, responsibility and compliance with standards first,” he said.
