HCM City to Host Woodwork and Handicraft EXPO in August
Vietnam’s 4th International Exhibition of Woodwork and Handicraft Products or EXPO 2006 will take place at the Ho Chi Minh International Exhibition and Convention Center (HIECC) from October 4-8 in Tan Binh District, according to the organizers.
The EXPO 2006, which will have around 1,000 booths, is seen as the biggest of its kind to show the overall picture of Vietnamese woodwork industry through its most unique products.
At the exhibition, the most modern wood processing machines and other kinds of sub-materials used in the timber processing industry will also be displayed.
The EXPO 2006 is also chosen as the official trade event of APEC 2006, thus will create opportunities for participants to introduce their products and seek more markets, the organizers said.
