Tan Tao IZ Celebrate 10th Anniversary

On November 30, 2006, Tan Tao industrial zone celebrated the 10^th anniversary of its foundation and received Labour Order Second Class awarded to the joint stock company and its Director General Dang Thanh Tam for outstanding contributions in 2001-2005 for national construction and defence.

 

By the end of November 2006, Tan Tao IZ has attracted 203 local investors with registered capital of VND5,325 billion and 34 foreign investors with US$123 million, creating some 20,000 jobs. In the past 10 years, Tan Tao IZ has turned a poor agricultural land into a prosperous industrial zone, a fastest in investment and biggest in size in Ho Chi Minh City. Tan Tao IZ Joint Stock Company (Itaco) has joined the listing in Securities Trading Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. The first listing and trading session was officially opened in HCMC Securities Trading Centre at 07.30 hours, November 15, 2006.
